Can't find a link to share. But an obvious red ignored in the Chelsea Leicester game.

The commentator here said if it had been given as a red then VAR wouldn’t have overturned it, but as it was only a yellow they didn’t think it was worthy of upgrading to a red.

We’re living in bizarro world.

I had it on in the car and it sounds like Leicester got away with a couple. The inconsistency drives me nuts.

Yeah there was a 2nd tackle that was possibly one. But the first one my god. Could have snapped Palmers achilles whilst not even going for the ball.

Awful wasn't it. How that was not deemed as endangering an opponent I've no idea.

Until people realise that the concept of "clear and obvious" is just as subjective as the judgement of a foul in the first place, they'll keep thinking VAR is some sort of magic that we just haven't tapped into yet.

Bin it, it is not viable.

Does seem to me that Leicester can do what the hell they like on and off the pitch.

Not sure what/who i dislike more, Leicester or Steve Cooper - but the combination is just abhorrent.

Now VAR doing what it should be doing. Linesman gives offside against Leicester, at the same time a Chelsea defender fouls the Leicester attacker. VAR overturns the offside, rightly so, and awards the penalty as per the referee decision.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

VAR is proving that it is no better than backing the judgement of the two lines persons and a ref and is equally open to interpretation, bias or whatever you perceive as the decisions that are made. This idea that VAR sometimes intervenes and sometimes doesn't is also crazy. You either have a system that overlooks all decisions or none of them. We thought VAR would be an end to controversial decisions, if anything it made it worse whilst at the same time taking enjoyment away from what is supposed to be an entertainment sport.
