You have a point but there is a big difference between Kyle Walker and Philips and Johnson. Walker has 200 appearances pretty much for both Spurs and City. Phillips had a season(?) with Leeds and then (apparently) only 16 appearances for City, which seems incredibly low.
Johnson had 60ish games for West Ham.
There's experience and then experience. That's not to say Walker is a brilliant signing, though. | |
