Do we think we will ever see him, Joking aside, He's deffinatly got a dual role in him, I see him as a 10 him sam and Conner once omari goes, But also switch it up front if need be two strikers at times, and off the bench to replace George, I think we will deffinatly get another out and out striker, Can't wait to see Chuba good player,

He needs to actually sign first before he can play anywhere

Possibly the versatility is art of the attraction.
Indeed. We're going to be tight squad number wise so having someone who can be both one of the three CFs and one of the 8 options McKenna likes to have behind the striker is a big help. Essentially frees up a squad place.
Looks strong in the hold up play and getting in front of/muscling out centre backs department to me from the highlights video. All rounder, but primarily sharing the #9 role with Hirsty I reckons.
If you watch his goals for Boro a couple of years ago he looks every bit the number 9, although by all accounts he clan play 10 as well which can only help. Looks like a very good finisher and can score all types of goal.

What's going on with Akpom and Cajuste? What's the hold up?
Brum have already announced that German fella they supposedly turned their attention to after Akpom chose us.. Hoping both are done just keeping the opposition guessing.

Chuba Akpom is not after choosing to come here, ahead of other opportunities, in order to be Hirst's 'finisher' option from the bench on the 70th minute in league matches. Similarly, we are not going to be paying the vast majority of his Ajax wages for him to be a bit part player in a Championship season. He is certainly an option to play up top, but his record as a scoring #10 is clearly a major factor in us signing him, particularly with Hutchinson almost certain to leave now. We will still be looking for a centre forward to bring in. Al Hamadi can't play the Hirst role over 90 minutes were George to get injured, however I do think he can be an effective 3rd striker option to come on & run at tiring defenders, either replacing or alongside the centre forward.
