I felt there was a project for him here. Situation could have been handled differently. Sometimes it's advice young players get from outside. He's on the verge of making that transfer, fantastic fee for the club. He and Delap both brought in considerable money. Not faked illness, did have throat infection. Should make yourself available, didn't for the cup game the other night, but something that happens. Needless.
If the deal happens, I'll want him to go on and do well. Part of a really special time here, all disappointed by the last bit. Will keep in contact with him. | | | |
