No previous alert for me on any device - caught the tail end of a mention that it was going to happen only once on a BBC radio station in passing - had no idea of when, so you could say it was a good test.
The reality was my phone was on charge in a different room at the time it happened, I didn't hear it, & only saw it over an hour later when I went to get my phone! |  |

you can turn them off, why wouldnt you ? people forget there are a whole world of people out there who maybe are in abusive relationships, who have "safe" phones hidden away, that they use to communicate with friends and support groups.
I mean I was more annoyed my phone had somehow turned it back on, clearly a software update resets your choices.
