Knew what he was doing at the end didn’t he? Just as the ref was wavering he quite intentionally played a pass into the biggest puddle on the pitch and kicked off to the ref. Good lad.

Not that he should have to avoid puddles or that it wasn’t heading that way anyway, I just enjoyed the obvious intent from him in the moment.

Might be missing something but you're giving him way too much credit, pretty sure it wasn't deliberate in any way.

I really admired his tackle yesterday. Thunderous violence.

I think to be honest, how far he skimmed across the pitch after the foul highlighted how bad the pitch was. Sol Campbell vibes.

There must be a decent photo of that somewhere.

Kipre, their player, ball and water going in all directions.

"Kipre was booked for aquaplaning into Gudjohnsen with the game becoming increasingly farcical" is one of my favourite things Phil's ever written.

Azor was absolutely loving it as well.

If it wasn't that pass, it would have been the next one that did it. The ball wasn't even bouncing.

I hope Kipre can stake a claim for the jersey now.

It looked very deliberate to me and I would’ve done exactly the same thing. He’d spoken to the ref shortly before it, O’Shea was getting in his ear as well, then got the ball and played it straight in to the biggest bog on the pitch before looking straight back at him as if to say ‘really, we’re playing on?’.

It was heading that way anyway but certainly looked very deliberate at the time.

Should’ve been called off way earlier. McKenna said the ball was rolling true in the 1st half, not sure I even agree with that really. Certainly from half time it was ridiculous.

You could tell the balling wasn't rolling true first half, there was a ball in the highlights that was going to davis, but it held up..

Agree with that. The ball was moving slower and slower and had the consistency of a Christmas pudding. There were several passes that were cut out in the first half without reaching their target because the pitch has slowed down the ball.
