It's taken a few seasons for him to develop into that but it is true. It should caution us against writing players off too quickly (but probably won't). I think Cajuste is very skilful but, so far, he doesn't have the impact on games we need. |  |

So much better. I had pelters for suggesting it but he’s just a much better fit than Cajuste who doesn’t get about anywhere near enough. He’s like a post injury Emyr Huws. Taylor gives us much better balance, aggression and work rate. |  | | |

Philogene was also much more direct.
Also interestingly his looped cross was pretty speculative - but shows what can happen at this level when you get it in the danger area. Better than recycling the ball into nothing.

I'm still not really on the Taylor hype train to be honest. He definitely adds a bit more energy but there were sloppy moments on and off the ball that Cajuste would have been slagged off to high heaven for.
Can certainly see why we tried to upgrade on him, though it's still very much up for debate whether we did that effectively.
Thought it was Nunez getting more involved through the pitch that turned the screw for us to be honest, and Philogene was quite clearly the sub that made the biggest impact (though he is still half in boo boy territory with a section so he gets overlooked sometimes). |  |
