It should caution us against writing players off too quickly (but probably won't). I think Cajuste is very skilful but, so far, he doesn't have the impact on games we need.

You must be a genius to work that one out!

Thanks friendly stranger. Was just commenting on the OP's message. Appreciate the input though.

I had pelters for suggesting it but he’s just a much better fit than Cajuste who doesn’t get about anywhere near enough. He’s like a post injury Emyr Huws. Taylor gives us much better balance, aggression and work rate. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Yep, pains me to say it, but Cajuste shouldn't be anywhere near the team at the moment, doesn't bring anything.

I really did think him and Matusiwa would be an untouchable pairing, with Nunez on the bench. How wrong I was.

Most of our chances that second half came when a player ran with the ball rather than static passing of first half

Philogene was also much more direct. Also interestingly his looped cross was pretty speculative - but shows what can happen at this level when you get it in the danger area. Better than recycling the ball into nothing. Just loop it in - what’s the worst than can happen 😁

Watching it back I'm trying to work out if it's bad defending or genius from JP. He does have a good look up before he crosses.

Yes I think there’s a fair bit of spin on it and more dip than it looks. And also looking for a runner in. But I’d still put it mostly down to awful defending. We’d be howling if greaves had done that.
| We are so much better with Taylor in the side (n/t) on 22:09 - Nov 25 with 550 views | LankHenners | I'm still not really on the Taylor hype train to be honest. He definitely adds a bit more energy but there were sloppy moments on and off the ball that Cajuste would have been slagged off to high heaven for. Can certainly see why we tried to upgrade on him, though it's still very much up for debate whether we did that effectively. Thought it was Nunez getting more involved through the pitch that turned the screw for us to be honest, and Philogene was quite clearly the sub that made the biggest impact (though he is still half in boo boy territory with a section so he gets overlooked sometimes). | |

Hackney would have done what he does with more quality I suspect
