| Lots of interesting things to come then on 20:45 - Nov 26 with 3995 views | Nthsuffolkblue | Why does it have to be loud? Surely, get the level right so it can be clearly heard without being deafening. The problem (as the club has recognised) previously has been that it has been far too loud in some places and too quiet in others. | |

Guess he feels the louder it is the more excitement it builds

Why would it be a curse? I am sure there will be some leeway but, if you buy a season ticket and know you aren't going to use it for 5 or 6 matches, why shouldn't the club be able to refund and sell the seat to a fan who wouldn't be able to attend otherwise?

Depends on the degree of leeway, I suppose. I've not watched the video yet, but Frimmers' summary makes it sound very black and white - don't resell via the club, and you'll be open to losing it.

Not a curse, a helpful tool, means your S/T seat still gets used, they don’t want it to be empty. Empty seats affect the atmosphere and inground sales etc. I imagine they will bring in some sort of [insert number here] strikes and you’re out kind of thing.

The buy a ticket just for the points, but not using it, is still continuing. As all clubs move to scanning tickets, hopefully the club can use the data from away games, and if you dont use them they can deduct double the points from your total.

There's gonna be rules and regs around it, but basically we've got 6000 on the ST waiting list and he deems it unfair to have empty seats with those waiting. He did say though he understands sometimes its not possible to go to a game, but then thats when they want you to use the club resale scheme.

I was referring to the function someone pointed out the other week - it might even have been you - where you can now transfer the ticket to someone else without having to call the ticket office to get a PDF. If I'm understanding Frimmers' comments correctly, it seems that even using that wouldn't be an 'acceptable' method of ensuring the ticket gets used.

Deducting points won't do too much, you'd need to wipe the account and put them to the bottom of the queue again to be a deterrent.

They won’t, but it’s not about that, as said, they just don’t want the seat empty why do you think they allow S/Ts to be passed on at all, a lot of club charge full whack for that.

Not sure if it changed, but hasn't it been the case over the past couple seasons that the club would prefer you to use the resale platform over giving it to someone else?

Yeah but I don’t think that would go against you, aslong as the seat is filled, they’ve done that online to save a lot of people contacting the ticket office to get a PDF version emailed out!

Interestingly on the original Blackburn email regarding the voucher and the new tickets it stated points will be awarded for buying for AND attending the rearranged fixture, so will be good to see if that gets implemented. [Post edited 26 Nov 21:08]

It needs a much better spread of speakers, otherwise it tends to be loud at the front and quiet at the back of the stand, the West Stand is a muzzy nothingness at the moment, at least where I am.

So if I have a heart attack a couple of days before a game and in hospital fighting for my life unable to login & resell and miss the Tues night game, when I recover I will find my season ticket sold? Well I hope they change the terms and conditions of the season ticket sales. Plus will he do the same with the corporate areas? Company pays for a executive box for the season, but they dont have it full for a couple of games, will he say tough we will sell it to someone else - thought not.

I've always wondered if they'd be better of having a set up of speakers of course, but also having earphones they could sell like they do at silverstone where you could wear them whilst in the ground
