Yes, I kind of understand that. However there are so many similar threads the football section has been completely flooded. Just a shame for those who like to use this platform solely for football engagement. Having an international break does not help. Maybe a solution would be to add a third option - political thread

even if a politics thread was added (which is daft as politics affects everything), a post about ipswich town football club's actions will still fall under football

Yes it is daft, but just trying to think of a solution to help those who are not interested in the repetitive nature of all these political threads. They are currently ruining the experience of using the site for people who like to visit for football content.

that *is* the football content at the momenet, unless you want to talk about england's friendly with uruguay! the thread titles will tell you immediately if it's something you're interested in

It's literally football discussion. Why aren't you interested in it? SB

What? Politics is a separate subject to football last I checked. Rather vague question asking why I am not interested in it, I am sure there are subjects you are not interested in. And after seeing the meltdown from so many in the last few days it has just reaffirmed my lack of interest in the subject.

define politics, define football. a discriminatory political party being hosted by a *football* club standing for diversity, equality and inclusion is pretty clearly both! if you're not interested, don't read those threads instead of starting yet another thread about it

You can hide threads that don’t interest you.

Thank you, I was unaware of that.

Yes, it is a little annoying when the Wordle thread gets bumped on to p 3 and I have to go looking for it but it really isn't that inconvenient. Politics is divisive but it is also very important, especially where it directly impacts football and ITFC especially. How would you feel about football clubs having to play only players born in this country? That is a political issue if there were a government who chose to enact legislation enforcing that. Reform is a political party whose policies are fairly close to that outcome too.
