Neither can Jackson, atleast Keane has scored in recent games he’s played

With this line up we might scrape a draw if we get a bit of luck.

If he's not injured it's ridiculous to drop Jackson.

He's been our best forward this year.

He can play on his own, but like any striker relies on support

His missus did just have a baby, I should imagine like anyone else in that scenario he's had a heck of a time juggling home life and work life as well as getting some sleep.

What's your point?

Just because he scored doesn't mean that Jackson should be dropped.

Keane has played well thus far.

How many games has it been since Jackson scored? That’s my point. There is virtually nothing between the two men

Jackson hasn't exactly been pulling up trees. So far it sounds like Jugde and Nolan are playing well, which if it continues might justify dropping Jacko.

I see your point but if we are going to go with 1 up it has to be Keane above Jackson. I think Lambert wants the extra man in midfield. I understand Nolan has been giving support.

Hopefully Jackson can come off the bench against a tiring side to find more space and make proper use of his greatest asset - his pace.

Keane is ideally suited to playing up top by himself. especially away from home. Its all about the support at someone said. Nobody can do it without support around them.
