Losing 9-0 in 2021 is a much, much worse result than losing 9-0 26 years ago....that's what I'm telling myself anyway.

Done it 2 seasons running which is quite impressive. Not least because we remain the only team to have lost by that margin and got relegated!

None are as bad as Darwen losing 12-0 to WBA and Leicester Fosse succumbing 12-0 to Nottingham Forest in 1909, both in the old First Division.

9-0 to Man Utd on 22:49 - Feb 2 with 1149 views | Garv | Shame because Southampton are genuinely one of the most entertaining sides in the league, perhaps outside of the obvious, Liverpool and City etc. Play the right way, play forward, positive, energetic. Plus, a Ward-Prowse free kick is something to behold. Ralph being given a chance after the first 9-0 was a win for football really, and it paid off superbly. Hope they bounce back again.

They looked shot to bits tonight with a lot of regulars absent. They should be ok but they’re on a dreadful run and need to find a win. They’re an excellent team to watch when they’re firing though, I agree. Unbelievably bad foul at the start from the debutant.

I thought football was invented on the 20th February 1992 :/

9-0 to Man Utd on 02:11 - Feb 3 with 879 views | BLUEBEAT | I still say we lost that match 8-0 Bad sportsmanship by the referee to let ManUre take that freekick whilst Forrest was remonstrating with him It was just 3 points, anyway Like the 3 points we took off them during the home match 😊

And that 8th goal should never have been a goal! Heck, at least we won the home game! That score will be beaten one day and I suspect sooner rather than later.
