That's not the news I want to read, especially as I'm finally starting to feel like I'm using more than half my lung capacity again.

Poor show.

Yes, and the the second time non-symptomatically which suggests he has some degree of immunity albeit not enough not to catch it. Too early to be conclusive - more cases are needed - but this might be a positive development.

Was picked up by screening ... he tested positive again but was actually fine, no symptoms ... not sure it’s much to worry about ...

If there was any proof people need to be staying put for a while longer.

That is a [potentially] positive sign then.

But can someone still be a carrier/spreader I wonder.

..other than the fact that he's been asymptomatic and could quite easily have been happily passing the virus on to any number of people unknowingly had he not been tested again....

I'd imagine 'yes'. You can potentially pass on Clostridium Difficile('winter vomiting') without having symptoms yourself, for example.

Then, impossible though it would be I suppose, the real solution would be to have testing before people travel, rather than only on their return.

Don’t mate, I know it’s been coming up to half a year we’ve been going through this, but it’s clear there’s an element of people who think they know better than long practised and scientifically proven to be effective infection controls.

Roughly 52% of people seem to think that expertise is something that we can happily do without.

Mate, you think you’re some kind of professor on the subject, my opinion is just as valid as yours ... unless of course you are a qualified epidemiologist, in which case I apologise.

I think it’s more a sign of people’s state of mental health now. Human beings are not programmed to not socialise and see others - it’s only been five months but sometimes it feels a lot longer and stories like this hardly help; it feels never ending and, unfortunately, I think resentment will grow if deaths continue to decline even if the number of cases increase. Yes, some people are selfish and pig-headed in not listening. Some started off but abiding with the instructions but are now struggling to cope, resulting in a need to see a light at the end of the tunnel - even if it does end up being an oncoming train.

Mate, your opinion isn't worth the contents of the Norwich City trophy cabinet. Mainly because you've utterly ignored the fact that asymptomatic people can still carry and pass on the virus when you expressed the 'nothing to worry about' view.

You don’t even understand basic infection control, jog on mate.
While I’m not the professor you proclaim, you’ve repeatedly proven yourself to be a wilfully ill-informed, selfish and ignorant man on this subject.
