Hull were very poor last night. I had expected alot more given their lofty league position. Fleetwood chased and harried all match and were well ahead on possession stats. Still its early days. Hull started very strongly, unfortunate to have a cracking goal disallowed and then conceded a silly goal.
I was interested in how Emmanuel played. I first saw him in the FA Youth Cup at Colchester and he looked very impressive but we never used him then in attacking positions. Bearing in mind his size and ability I was surprised that night. I expected him to really kick on but he did not.
Last night i thought he was very competent and they used him further up the field in situations that neither we, or Rotherham, did. He even had a shot on target. None of the goals conceded came from his side of the pitch, overall one of their better players. | | | |

He was always likely to have a decent career somewhere
Sadly that hasn't ended up being with us. You do wonder, how much of an improvement if any, Donacien has ended up being? Lambert doesn't appear to rate him. [Post edited 10 Oct 2020 13:03]
