I've found my attitude changing this week, and bizarrely feel a little bit positive about our chances in the next two games. There's no logical reason for this. Just being a died in the wool supporter perhaps, i.e. an irrational twanny. While my overall opinion about Evans ownership and the current manager's abilities have not changed, my powder has dried recently. Not exactly a blank slate for me, but I think we can beat these two and get our season on track.
I'm not preparing myself for disappointment, so COYFB.
Obviously my brain hasn't been rewired though so won't be surprised! But...

Aye, but one can counter this immediately with our (enervating and absurdly incompetently managed) fitness problems, this time to Norwood who was in my mind gonna be integral to bullying some points here and there.
As I say it's not exactly a blank slate, but I want Town to succeed so giving Lambert this last chance.

Liking the original posters optimism. But as you say how will our defence cope? It’s going to take a real uplift in performance today, something out of the ordinary. And with the dressing room climate, and our form against better teams - a win seems fanciful.
I’m still wishing for it though; but this a 4 game spell. No more excuses, 9 points.
