I haven't heard anything, but can't imagine we'll have more than 1 or 2 more games of this rubbish - and they have to be the best candidate

Doesn’t Evans want the club to continue to play ‘more football’? If this is true do you think that this will prevent the Cowleys from being appointed?

I wouldn't have thought so. It's not difficult to play more than the no football we currently have
Cowleys still available? on 17:18 - Jan 23 with 1338 views | clive_baker | Evans will inevitably wait until late March when we're 10 points off the playoffs, then spend a couple of weeks interviewing Paul Cook and Danny Cowley before announcing Gary Megson.

The Cowleys aren't hoofers. They adapt, that's all. To be honest I'd take effective hoofball ahead of this season's approach, which we seem to have employed through some sense of half-hearted obligation and thus look completely uncomfortable with.

I agree, although I still think he’ll wait until after the Crewe defeat.
Cowleys still available? on 17:28 - Jan 23 with 1184 views | Herbivore | I was a bit sceptical of the Cowleys at Lincoln and wasn't a great fan of their football there. That said they did a decent job at Huddersfield and were unlucky to get sacked and they seem to be the kind of bright, modern, adaptable coaches that we need right now. I'd take them in a heartbeat (if the Butcher/Burley and Dyer dream ticket is off the table).

Yeah, that's an annoying misconception. They're tacticians and, as crazy as it sounds, have generally adopted the novel approach of playing to the strengths of the players they have available to them. We're so used to seeing players shoe horned in out of position that we're probably scared of such change.

Look at the performances they got out of Emile Smith Rowe, who's now killing it at Arsenal and would say himself that they helped massively in giving him freedom to play and kick on. I think they'd just take what is here and whip it into shape.

Please let it be so. Tactically the worst manager I have known. Christ, even Jewell played better football!
