I’m going for this time next week unless we win one of the next two games. Next week is one of the rare occasions when we’re not playing midweek so gives someone extra time with the players. Also exactly the halfway point in the season. The worry is that one win this week and Evans will see it as an excuse to continue to muddle along. |  | | |

not sure I share the optimism that he'll be gone by this time next week;
- why on earth did the club put out that statement last night in response to the EADT. They could have just responded more informally just referring to previous backing
- agree that there is plenty of time to salvage the season somewhat, but that is what the club/Evans are also arguing in defence of keeping Lambert. |  |
