Nolan injured 09:58 - Jan 27 with 1340 views | George25 | Did anyone else thought Nolan looked injured? Noticed aswell before he came on the room into him and he was holding his knee which had some sort of cream on it, which I think physio use to treat fluid or joint injuries. As well he went straight down the tunnel.

Nolan injured on 10:04 - Jan 27 with 1302 views | chrismakin | He was holding his groin at times as well When was the last time weve had a player return from injuries and play a few u23 games to get upto speed before being thrown into league football. It cant be healthy to keep chucking them in

Nolan injured on 10:09 - Jan 27 with 1252 views | marcus1642 | Looks like a groin strain. Probably out for 3 weeks as he was moving fairly well.
Nolan injured on 10:12 - Jan 27 with 1230 views | CokeIsKey | It seems to be the case recently where we’ve rushed players back from injury too quickly and they’ve just made the injury worse. Norwood went off with the same injured calf on about three occasions and Nsiala picked up an injury because Lambert made him play on Sat when he wasn’t ready. Likewise with Bishop, Downes and Edwards - all out for a while and yet they make their first appearances back starting in the league rather than in an u23 game. All that combined with the fact we don’t have a fitness coach anymore means it’s not really a surprise so many players are getting injured. To me it sounds like Lambert is just impatient and wants short term results to save his job, rather than players returning slowly and staying fit. [Post edited 27 Jan 2021 10:13]

It's why Jim Henry has been sacked/placed on gardening leave/working from home Lambert having constant disagreements with them, a la the Toto one from Saturday, with predictable consequences He's doing medium and long term damage, alongside the short term damage

Nolan injured on 10:17 - Jan 27 with 1181 views | Ewan_Oozami | Didn't he get that when he blocked a cross which went for a corner? Look like he twisted awkwardly and the ball hit him midships, which may have done/exacerbated any damage?

If lambert still here no good sport scientist or fitness coach would want to come here when there decision be undermined by a manger. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Imagine rushing Nolan back thinking he is the answer to our woes!
Nolan injured on 12:58 - Jan 27 with 906 views | Chrisd | He was walking down the touchline gingerly (excuse the pun) once he was taken off.

To be fair he did well when he came on against Peterborough and was decent last night too. Better than Dozzell at any rate.

I think his our best midfielder and we need to start building a system around him This has not reached me overnight but in recent weeks Must be fit. Clearly playing through pain for Shambert
Nolan injured on 15:17 - Jan 27 with 711 views | ArnieM | Our players are not conditioned and strengthened correctly , which is why they keep picking up injuries , and getting re injured. This Club has completely gone to the dogs IMO.

Are you saying that you think that Nolan is our best midfielder? I don't think I would put him in our best six. Good for possession stats though with his passes back to the central defenders although he did not seem to be doing those last night or when he was on the pitch on Saturday.
