Didn't think they had any spare money under the cap.

Not really sure that you expect to happen at town, if we are are the top of the salary cap there isn't really much we can do.

SB - (not Simon Batford)

They could just be taking players out of their squad so no longer having to count for the cap.

Means they can’t play them for rest of the season but a new manager may not care

Even if that’s the case, they’ve probably still got a smaller quad than us. We must be close to needing two team buses if we had an away day.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.
Poll: Which recent triallist should we have signed?

Ironically I think we have taken two buses (possibly even three accounting for staff?) to an away game or two this season for distancing purposes.

Poll: Pick a goal to win the derby in stoppage time...

We might also be in for a Scottish Striker I hear.

37 year old Angus Macoatup who plays for Civil Service Strollers when he is not required to work overtime on a Saturday is interesting Paul Lambert. He impressed in a recent match against Auchtermuchty Working Mens Club when he registered a shot and a header on target. He has scored 1 goal so far this season which was against Boghead Bridge in a 5-1 reverse.

To be fair they also signed Jordan Jones and Jake Voskins on loans.

He also had a day trip to Germany last year I believe 😀

Should have hired a double decker from Ipswich buses.

As I understand it, the only punishment for breaking the cap is a fine, isn't it? At 3x the over-spend. It could be that the Sunderland owner is willing to take a hit of a low hundred-thousands fine as the statement of intent, and potential success, will pay off in season ticket renewals now, and higher income in the future if they are successful.
