But with Evans' BCWYWF attitude to the fans over the sacking of Hurst, do you not think that Chambers has also lost a lot of his influence and leverage?
Moreover, I think a lot of people are confusing "legs not quite fast enough at age 35 to play wing-back consistently" with "unable to instruct and organise a team in a management position". |  |

He was nothing to do with the club's failure under Keane or most of Jewell's tenure. And he was a part of our only (reasonably) successful patch in the last 15 years.

I just find it incredibly hard to judge anyone under this manager, the constant failure of the club is literally just since Mick left as the 5 years or so of him where, one season aside, decent.
If a new manager comes in, say Danny Cowley, and says thanks for your service but you are bit part now and won't be captain then I'd totally respect that view - but it is absolutely vital that the new manager is here soon, both to try and salvage this season, and also to run the rule over who is here and out of contract and who they want to move forward with.
