Did we? Looked like Sears playing behind Norwood but, to be honest we didn't have the ball in that area of the pitch enough to be sure. We have a lack of good forward players at the club which is part of the problem. We have an ingrained desire to keep possession and not try anything going forward which is the second problem. Aside from that, I think two up front with Jackson and Norwood has shown to be more effective than one up front for us.

One up front is the problem on 17:39 - Mar 27 with 494 views | Parky | Peterborough scored 7 today, playing 1 upfront as they have done all season. We have about a million attacking midfielders and wingers who should be creating and scoring goals, but they simply aren’t. Whilst it’s not working for us at the moment, nor worked under Lambert, I’d definitely put it down to the personnel playing on the pitch and not being good enough. Roll on next season when the majority of shît has gone and Cook can bring in his own personnel to play his preferred system.

Yes. Even in a 4 4 2 you dont get 2 flat forwards you will always have 1 slightly deeper. So yes. We played 4 4 2 and it didnt offer anything more than 4 2 3 1

One striker playing slightly deeper than another striker isn't 2-up-front enough for you? How about when Jackson came on? There's no way of shuffling a pack that contains Judge, Edwards, Jackson, Sears, Norwood (let alone the bloody kids) that consistently generates chances. There just isn't.
