One thing I will say he was very handy on the left of a back three.
But a good attacking full back he was not. And in today's game, if you're not a full back who's good going forward, you're not much use.
Don't get me wrong, he wasn't awful, he played a lot of games. Frankly I just didn't enjoy watching him, I think that's fair enough. My earlier comment was probably harsh. | |

I wouldn't trust our right footers to shoot with their stronger foot, let alone their weaker one.

Knudsen was very frustrating though despite having the wonderful knack of scoring against Norwich. I remember one occasion at Burnley away a few years ago when Sears had harassed two Burnley players for an age eventually gaining possession, played it back to Knudsen who promptly smacked the ball into touch 40 yards up the pitch. Freddie would have had every reason to be raging. |  | | |
