I used to find I lost a lot of weight on a speed weekend, and then was f**ked until about Wednesday, was good fun though.
No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.
This year's Spede Weekend should have been last weekend, but has been postponed to a date yet to be confirmed, but the intention is absolutely to run it.
Regular meetings have been happening since mid-May, but with a limited capacity and having to order tickets in advance.

Surely if you are 'up for some outdoor action this summer', you need a dogging website?
I will have you know that rumours of my Alfresco Society being the public front for a massive dogging operation is just Paper Talk. What Footers and Woofers get up to in Lowestoft are purely his own actions, and not those endorsed by Alfresco Society Holdings LLC.

The speed was just one of many substances on the weekend. Smokes, Beer, Mandies, Mushies, trips, dunno what this is but what the hey all got consumed. Waking up on Felixstowe beach on a Sunday at sunrise was a recurring habit.
Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

What the feck is a Mandie? Is it similar to a Jimmy or have I been missing out on something?

The trade name was Mandrax and I think it was a sleeping pill. Half a pint of cider and woohoo. The dead giveaway on any of Grandmas pill packets was 'do not take with alcohol' or 'avoid operating machinery'.

I had 2 Grandmas and a Nan. They loved me, 'cos I was always dropping in to say hello. Bless 'em.
I had a elderly relative during the early 90,s who had been prescribed MST,( morphine sulphate) and used to love to trade it for weed/resin. Jah bless him

I have been meaning to ask for a long time - Are you Mick Jagger?
My only claim to fame is I had a mate in Sheffield who was a dead ringer for Robert Plant of Led Zep and I looked a bit like Cliff Richard. Not exactly a believable 'Rock star mates out on the Town' scenario but we did get our fair amount of totty.

Speed used to be used as a treatment for obesity. I think there's research to develop amphetamine-like drugs that will work but without the dodgy side effects.
Amphetamines were widely used by both the German and American armies in WW2.

I was going out with a 22 year old nurse when I was 32. Yeah, just shut it alright 'cos I blew it and I still regret it. She was looking after an MS patient same age as me and convinced me to share my stash and a few evenings a week with him. Knowing him in the last few months of his life was a life-changing experience for me and it was when I stopped being a lad and grew up.

Nurses like damaged goods, the rebel they can tame. She found a basket case much more deserving than me. Anyway, I moved on to the looker with 5 cats. Did I hear the alarm bells? Not for some 6 months.

Probably hard to hear the alarm bells over the sound of the hissing and evil plotting felines?
