Definitely needs more time, we're only 3 league games in to this season (although the 16 games he had last did nothing to inspire me) so absolutely he should get more time. End of October if we're outside the top 6 I think he'll be feeling the pressure. |  |

Those of us who were awake were holding Cook accountable from Day 1 (as every manager should be). Cook actually took us backwards last season and did worse that PR Paul. 'Fans' gave him a free pass (like they did with Lambert in 18/19 when they clapped relegation). This season has proven to be an embarrassment already and new depths are being plumbed. I hope Cook can turn it around but I'm really starting to have my doubts. |  | | |

I said at the end of last season that Paul Cook gets no 'free hits' from me. I saw enough promise in the first game to have belief. Burton was not terrible, but not great. Tonight was a total shambles following a decent first half.
To me this is negative progress across three games - and that has nothing to do with gelling either - Cook tactically screwed the pooch tonight. [Post edited 17 Aug 2021 22:46]
