I think he looks like he's seriously lacking confidence. No need to be offside for the disallowed header and he delayed shooting twice when he hit the bar

He gave him a pretty torrid time, Burgess looks a long way off it

I read in the EADT report the worrying words, Burgess out-muscled by Sears.

Erm...

Sears is quick to be fair, and again showed last night that when he’s played through the middle he’s a much better player.

No, it isn’t. But when Freddie is played in his right position and is playing well, he can be a handful.

He was not the worst player to play for this club.

He really wasnt a bad player at all. I always preferred him in the middle.

People need to remember Burgess played for Accrington last season, who would have defended much of their games from their own box.

There was a pundit recently discussing Harry Maguire in a similar way to how he played at his previous clubs. It is a whole different game for a defender to play a high line and sit on the halfway line, it clearly caught Burgess out as he was very slow to read balls and turn.

We seemed to sort the issue 2nd half I could not see if that was because we dropped a little deeper or if Burgess was just getting used to it.

Poll: Mick in or out? (not a dig at Mick just want to see the overall opinion on here)

Burgess is a concern. He looks OK defending from his own box, but a striker playing on his shoulder and he struggles.
