Since Town commited suicide by selling out to the offshore spiv there have been a wide range of managerial types from the sociopathic Keane, through old lags with a oromotion or two under their belt, young turks who would sign proven performers at this level and a bloke who's recently gained two promotions and had the novel idea of gutting the club as a sensible step forward.
ALL of these managers have made a total pig's ear of the job. Given the laughable pretend owners and the smarmy hangars on charged with making it work this time.... chances of a sensible appointment? Zero. Chances of any manager able to make it work? History suggests zero.
Conclusion - it matters very little who is appointed....just pray they have a modicum of common sense and are prepared to try and manage with what they have got.. On that basis at least Wayne Rooney might fit the bill - or 50% of it.

Are you the artist previously known as nerdyknowall?
Mowbray is the only one I could get interested in seeing at the club. Consistently improves teams when he takes them on. Apart from Celtic which doesn't count as it's in the Scottish League and he was working with Neil Lennon.
Shane he won't come to Ipswich but would be the best appointment.

I voted Mowbray at first but am changing it to other because, as many say, he is unlikely to be interested in the Town job. So Jack Ross would be interesting for a couple of years.
