PCR tests, as they are so sensitive.
Lat flows are ok. Both younger sentences were testing negative before they came out of isolation. |  |

The PCR will replicate any C19 virus found in the sample to a large enough amount to be positive.
The LFT will just work with whatever was originally in the sample.

so if you have got covid and get a negative on day 6 and 7 how do you prove it. are they expecting people to be honest about their results.

Upload the negative result to the NHS website. Obviously the whole thing runs on trust anyway as no one is keeping track of who is self isolating and how long they have to go. | | | |
