Pretty poor challenge this. Only given a yellow at the time.
Straight red for me.

Keith Stroud.

Meh.

All depends on the angle that the ref has and what he saw.

Possibly the hardest job in sport.

Too much made of this sort of thing.

Off the ground and out of control. So a red.

Disagree. Referees aren't working for the Civil Service Monday to Friday anymore, they're meant to be professional officials.

If one of the three can't spot two feet off the ground we might as well get Clive Thomas back.

Red. Serious foul play certainly, and he may well have also denied a goal scoring opportunity.

Irrelevant.

The point about angles and what they see remains.

Think the guy being tackled is facing his own goal.

The fact he didn't need to make the tackle and had no chance of winning the ball suggests there was a bit of malice in it.

On first view, it looked a straight red to me. But camera angles do make a difference.

Massively agree.

There's so much controversy in the game because it's 'man made' and fuelled by Sky and BT or whoever.

When we first started seeing multiple angles it was interesting and new, now it's just boring and takes away from the actual game.

'Referee watch' on Sky Sports is absolutely bonkers and shouldn't exist. Same as when Peter Walton sits in his little booth for BT and gets asked his opinion on decisions throughout a game, what on earth is that about?

Players and managers definitely do not help referees by consistently sniping or cheating.

Referees aren’t there to get everything right they are there to officiate in an unbiased matter.

But Stoud is absolutely appalling.

Isn't he only jumping to avoid the no. 20 who's trying to block him?
On just that angle I'd give him the benefit of the doubt and say yellow
