Lap of honour today... 12:15 - Apr 30 with 3053 views | strikalite | Well not for me, let's don't dress this up. these players have once again let the fans down, most have underperformed overall, by all means they can stand in the centre circle after the game and lightly applaud all four stands, preferably with their head bowed... COYB's!!!!
Lap of honour today... on 12:18 - Apr 30 with 2665 views | Rozz | Not really a lap of honour unless you win something, is it? A lap of appreciation for fans that have followed them relentlessly up and down the country, rain or shine.
Lap of honour today... on 12:18 - Apr 30 with 2659 views | catch74 | Know what you’re saying but imagine if they just all bolted for the tunnel. It’s a two way thing and like to think it’s a thank you to the fans, who numbers wise really have performed their part, rather than self congratulation.

Lap of honour today... on 12:27 - Apr 30 with 2590 views | waveneyblue | Give over you miserable sod. It's been the most enjoyable season for years, the club is back on the way up. OK its far from perfect, but let them enjoy it.

Lap of honour today... on 14:16 - Apr 30 with 2420 views | Pinewoodblue | There is so much more to a Football club than the first team. What should happen is all players who represent the club should do a lap of appreciation. I’m sure fans would want to applaud the U23 squad( currently top of their league) U18’s and of course The Women’s teams. Could go all the way and add the various other age groups.

Lap of honour today... on 14:38 - Apr 30 with 2339 views | patrickswell | In front of big home and away followings, they managed 1 more point and 2 places lower than a demoralised, technically inferior squad playing in empty stadiums managed. What a bunch of f***ing heroes! I do however think that a full season of McKennaball will lead to a better season next year though. The players have got to stop making excuses though and learn from their mistakes next season. Edited to remove a proliferation of “though” [Post edited 30 Apr 2022 14:39]

… best to watch for seasons… and that’s why we’re getting 26,200 for a ‘dead rubber’ game We are on the way up. But need to be as dynamic and energetic as we were at times today straight from the off next season. I thoroughly enjoyed today, and the crowd were excellent, and the lap of appreciation had some validity because we’d put on a bravura display. 3 or 4 signings of quality and we have a chance.

Lap of honour today... on 18:36 - Apr 30 with 1598 views | Churchman | Sorry, there’s nothing wrong with applauding the fans and visa versa. Ok, the season should have been better and we’ve underachieved, but I defy anyone to say the players haven’t given their best.
Lap of honour today... on 18:51 - Apr 30 with 1546 views | jeera | "these players have once again let the fans down" I'm struggling with this bit Strikers, "once again". This is their first season playing together right? I read that and momentarily wondered if I'd lost a year somewhere. Until this is confirmed I'm not dismissing it altogether either.

Lap of honour today... on 19:18 - Apr 30 with 1477 views | MattinLondon | What a load of arse. Ok, so the season didn’t go to plan but there is grounds for hope for next season. The lap of appreciation is simply a dignified way for the players to say ‘thanks for the support’ and for some players to say bye. It’s also a nice way for the younger members of the first eleven to understand fully what it means to be a first teamer.

Wow. Does it take practice to be such a c-unit?
Lap of honour today... on 00:36 - May 1 with 1079 views | DarkHorse | Absolutely. But you’re far too fair minded. They should take it upon themselves to strip to their undies, kneel down in the centre circle, tie their boots to their shirts and flail themselves silly. Particularly Wes Burns, the sexy bastard. Ahem.
