Trevor Putney is my shout.
Putney is listed as the number 7 for the away defeat to Liverpool in 1984 in TMWMTT, but Motson definitely says 'Sunderland' in the commentary, and that doesn't look like Putney's shock of floppy blonde hair. On the other hand, he's more where you'd expect to see Putney playing and less where you'd expect Sunderland to be.
So, I don't know, indications and contraindications.
