I'm very surprised we haven't gone for him, especially given that he has a release clause.

Poll: How would you rate our summer transfer window out of 10?

Good player, don’t think we’d need to pay seven figures for a CM, we’re pretty well stock in that area, especially adding Dom Ball on a free.

Top, top player, they were resigned to losing him this summer anyway, but with it being so close to the start of the season, maybe hoping they might be able to keep him.

They will be mid table this year.

RIP Sir Bobby

As a relative local, I would just say that it's not a done deal. He likes the area and is on good money.

Key will be, if he goes, will they have time to reinvest wisely?

As someone who lives 6 miles from their ground, I would say he is 100% off, the club itself seems to have planned for it, if its not Blackpool then someone else in the Championship.

Would have loved him here at Ipswich, but deserves a crack at a higher level.

Haha have you not learnt yet, NEVER listen to Wallers.

I’m amazed though, he had a clause in his contract that he could leave of the right offer came in, there is still some loyalty in football.

Has he asked for that clause to be taken out of his new contract, to underline his loyalty?
