The party has spent a long time making no real attempt to hide corruption. It surprises me that it has taken so long before people generally appear to care. It eventually caught up with Johnson and the Tory membership chose to vote for a clear continuation.

There will still be a significant number who will dismiss it and claim they are all the same. It is important that there is a cleaning up of politics generally.

Of all the heinous, criminal, callous things this government done, spending taxpayers money on Norwich is undoubtedly the worst.

I know that thirty or so years ago DWP used to make regular payments to ITFC (they were hiring function rooms to run additional appeal tribunals because of the huge backlog of appeals at the time).

I doubt you can book meeting rooms through the budgies' club shop but I'm not going to assault my eyes finding out.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

One of the payments looks ominously like the amount of a season ticket, just a day after one of their season ticket deadlines!

David Gauke. Worked in the Treasury as FS Secretary and various other senior roles. Really nice bloke who I actually met once. I’m told he was competent too. He resigned because he couldn’t support Johnson and No Deal Brexit and was I think kicked out of the party. Way to good for those muppets.

Lord David Anderson of Ipswich used to be a season ticket holder *and* used to be here on TWTD (he had to answer security questions about him being a member when he became the government's terrorist Tsar...

Taking us for mugs... Well, taking you guys for mugs. Glad I left the country. Honesty, having lived in three different countries, it is easily the worst quality of life, out of my small sample size.

You know a country has lost the plot when it is led by an unelected Norwich fan who's first action is to ruin an already tanked economy.

About 20 years ago I had to spend a day in one of their executive boxes, doing promotion interviews.

There may still be a large photo with ITFC written in the corner.

(By a colleague, obviously).
