So, KM is not likely to rip him a new one over this. We have a playing style where all players on the pitch are encouraged and supported to play the ball, pass and move and be comfortable and confident on the ball.
Given KM wants us to play this way, if Edmundson is trying to play that way and makes a mistake - so be it, it happens. He's human.
If he's trying to do things that KM has asked him to do, all good.
We know this approach and style sometimes bites us, it's the risk you take. The alternative is for our defenders at the back to get rid of the ball as quickly as possible but that isn't going to help us play the way that opens teams up and has got us to where we are. |  |
