Many years ago he passed me on the M25 as I was going to work. He went by in a gold Rolls Royce and a personalised number plate. It reminded me of Arthur Daley - I had to laugh on the basis of if you’ve got it, flaunt it.

Many years ago he passed me on the M25 as I was going to work. He went by in a gold Rolls Royce and a personalised number plate. It reminded me of Arthur Daley - I had to laugh on the basis of if you’ve got it, flaunt it.

I used to walk past his Rolls Royce regularly with the very distinctive numberplate of D 6OLD. He had a claret one more recently. It was regularly parked up just off Berkeley Square.

To a point.

My understanding gas always been that their interest came to late, we'd already entered into a period of exclusivity with Evans when the came sniffing around
