The 2 new forwards 13:23 - Jan 9 with 2011 views | FrimleyBlue | Those who've seen much of them... do we have 3 strikers now for that 1 position or can the 2 new ones play Any of the those forward positions (Harness role etc)?

The 2 new forwards on 13:29 - Jan 9 with 1866 views | LegendofthePhoenix | with the 5 subs rule, means even if we play one striker we will still use two over the full 90 minutes. Three gives us options - and with injuries/illness etc., hopefully this means we can have a potent striker on the pitch at all times.

The 2 new forwards on 13:38 - Jan 9 with 1719 views | Daninthecampo | With Ladapo or Hirst as the 9 Then Broadhead and Chaplin both playing behind, that should certainly bring some goals!! Then Harness, Aluko, Edwards and hopefully at sometime JJ to come on as sub for the number 10 roles We're looking strong

Chaplin and Broadhead behind Hirst or Ladapo should provide a lot of goals. Also throw Humphreys into that equation

He'll get plenty of game time providing competition for Burns.

Quality finisher, fast, great control. That is a real statement of intent signing. Really looking forward to seeing him play. I think he will score a hatful

Like Edwards, Jackson offers something different. He's far more effective for us out wide and he'll be more than enough competition for Burns and clearly KM likes him. Edwards, also, is our most skillful player and the one player most likely and comfortable being able to take on players. I expect both to play key roles in the run in.

Think, as long as the "starters" put a real shift in. Then someone like Edwards or Jackson is still useful coming on against presumably tired oppo'.. Jackson, more so if we are winning and want to use his pace as an outball on the counter. .. Feels like they are both being edged down the pecking order , slightly though.. Lets not forget, either. These signings are great, but are yet to prove themselves here. We hope they hit the ground running. But its not a given..

It’s very pleasing that the manager identified where we needed strengthening, he’s said what he wants, and the owners have backed him fully. Obviously this is how professional clubs generally operate but it’s been a while since we’ve behaved this way. Our attacking options now for L1 are kinda ridiculous.

i miss the days of fans contacting the EADT to have articles about them cutting up their season tickets. We are far too professional these days. How many of those who got an article posted do you think actually cut their season ticket up?

I think McK is looking at it from L1 and Championship. If you can get players in now like Broadhead ( who looks championship ready) and fully integrated it should make it easier when we are in the championship. But conversely you will never get a full squad of championship quality players in a L1 team so you have to stick with some like Jackson. To be fair his pace has caused a few problems for teams in this league, stick with him now and then replace him next season when we are in the championship.
