Indeed, Peterborough will be unaffected by this and will still sell early season ticket phase. Cheltenham will probably end 5 minutes earlier now, let's be honest 99% of these people will be gold card holders anyway.

Seems weird to put it in place for posh But if 10 aways are needed for Cheltenham I’d say fleetwood will be 13/14 maybe

I suspect its closer to the allocation hence saying the ten games. That's how they worked it for the Bracknell game. Travelling to most games I see the same faces, and a lot of them, at all the games so if it does go past letter don't expect it to go much further. The allocation at Fleetwood is even less so probably raise the number of games for the letter | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Yup, think you’re right (which is quite mad - attendance of over 50% of away games needed for priority, shows how good our followings have been this year).

Weird one, I don't see why they'd change it as you'd imagine the number is enough for tickets, but then why would they not say Fleetwood?

I guess they are not sure how many Fleetwood tickets they have yet, but I understand around the 800 mark so will need to see how many have been to how many games and work out a priority number at that point

But then we will have had Derby, Posh and Barnsley. You'd think that if you qualify for a letter for Cheltenham, then you would for Fleetwood. I think I might be on 10 this season, so just scrape in.

Is ten not the cutoff for Fleetwood as well? That’s what the article says: ‘Due to demand, an adapted priority system has been put in place for Town's away fixtures between now and the end of the season. The Blues face Cheltenham on Easter Monday before making the short trip to Peterborough for the penultimate game of April. Finally, Kieran Mckenna's side will close out the 2022/23 campaign away at Fleetwood on Sunday, 7 May. Priority for the above fixtures is being given to supporters who have been to at least 10 away league fixtures this season, up to and including last weekend's match against Bolton.

And it suggests that there are no more than 800 who have done 10+ away games, per ITFC records.

I guess it's easier to have a standard methodology now for the remaining three games that have not been on sale. Posh (though they are far from posh) will go gold and possibly beyond so unlikely to be affected. Guess this is just easier for ticket office and everyone knows the score

That puts me more at ease in fairness. I assumed it may be more games needed. I have all bar two but the lad only has 12 and possibly not able to come to Barnsley (unless a migrant like he had at Burnley happens to re-appear - they are awful when they do and you just can't go to school) and can't make Derby as a friend has stupidly agreed to get married that day so the most he could make is 13 with Cheltenham. We did go to Cambridge but can't count them as had players tickets so not bought from club shop. Need to go to both to tick the off on grounds visited as I work my way through the 92

Derby and Barnsley don’t count… it’s 10 league games up and including Bolton.

I think this is a very fair system, for those hard core fans who have gone to over 10 away games you certainly deserve this system. Having only gone to 5 away games, it does not bother me. Also considering these fans will have travelled to Plymouth, Exeter, Bristol, Burnley, Accrington, Forest Green, Morecombe and Bolton. Count the cost and mileage these fans will have put in.
