..to the zoo on Sunday.
There wasn’t much there to see to be honest and there was only one dog.
It was a Shih Tzu.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

The zoo near where I live teaches all of its animals martial arts.
It’s a Jujit-zoo.

I know that dog...used to run around after tennis balls when it was younger, and now just sits around making a lot of noise.

It's the Zoo Barker

I went during the day and all the hives were censored.

Apparently they can't show zoo bees until after the watershed.

A naive young lad in Wolverhampton DHSS many years ago was told he'd need to ring the wages office at Dudley Zoo and ask for Mr C Lyons.

I was not the naive young lad BTW.

In my day, mastadons roamed the Severn Valley.

Well no. You'd have needed to send a career pretodactyl to convey a message in your day as a junior civil servant.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

It must have been a DHSS thing. I'm afraid I fell victim to that very jape in Southwark local office in about 1983. I'm still mortified I fell for it.
