Couldn't believe how much time he had to get to the ball! I was not totally convinced by Hirst for a while, even though he had shown a lot of good signs. Since MK away he has just stepped up, he works so hard but now he has that extra bit of confidence he just looks like a handful at all times. COYB | |

Feels like another example of McK seeing things in players, knowing what will fit the system he wants to play and the attributes he's looking for. When Hirst puts on a couple of kilos as well he's going to be a real headache for defenders | | | |

Agreed, of every signing this year Hirst was the least exciting to me, eap after toiling for half a season at Blackburn but last few games he's shown quality, pleased to be eating humble pie |  |

A lot of people rave about Cashin but what I’ve seen so far he looks ok but nothing more than that.
Slow on the turn and quite slow also, think he would be exposed higher up. He’s still young of course but I’m yet to be totally convinced. | | | |
