Who has already started working out what games they want to go to next season?
Out of those in L1 I'd love for Derby to join us as it's the only one of those grounds I haven't been to. From Prem I haven't been Leicesters ground or Southampton. Been to Forest, Leeds and Everton. Would love for Everton to come down over Leeds although watching Leif run rings over Leeds is appealing. From Championship, would be happy for Millwall to go up (used to watch them at uni and have a real soft spot for them so would prefer not to play them).
Whatever, some bloody good away games looming and I'm not disappointed I wont be heading to Stevenage, Cheltenham, Bristol Rovers or Wycombe again. |  | | |  |

Yep.
Being trapped down here in Devon means I get the Plymouth game (with added salt in we finish top next week), but now it's trips to Wales and the Midlands instead of, quirky one off that it was, Forest Green and that sodding hill. And those sodding buses. And the sodding train. |  |

I have been to Derby, and to be honest - Pride Park is a copy paste identikit stadium that sign posts where ambition failed to meet reality. They really did put a lot of effort into trying to build a hub of service and entertainment around the ground and that is probably more impressive than the stadium itself.
Barnsley has to be my favourite to go up. It's a pretty part of the world with a lot of friendly people and Oakwell feels like a proper football stadium that has much more heritage and personality than the Derby Bowl.
TLDR: You're not missing a whole lot by having not been to Pride Park. [Post edited 2 May 2023 21:14]

Shame Blackpool are down but if they take Wigan and Reading with them that would be a result, they're 2 horrible away days. Middlesbrough can go up, not a huge fan of going there and also think they're more likely to be a force next season.
Will be a nice selection of away games. There will be 10-12 of this lot I imagine which catch my eye:

I'd have thought they'd need to sell fringe players if they went down and wouldn't be in as strong a position in terms of the fee negotiation. I doubt they'd see him as a starter if they came down. |  | | |

Only new grounds for me will be Swansea and West Ham if they come down, done the rest of the Champ numerous times before.
Forest Green, Morecambe and Fleetwood are the only L1 ones I haven't done, although that number will be reduced by one come Sunday afternoon. |  |

Oh yes....
Delighted Rotherham are staying up, and hopeully Colin does the job at Huddersfield and keeps them in the Champ.
As ever, I want Leeds to get relegated - but I'm sure that's the same for most football fans.
Looking at the league table, the only Northern ground currently in the Champ I've not been to is Ewood Park - so I'll be looking to tick that off the list. |  | | |

If I remember rightly from the summer, they were after something ridiculous like £5 million, which is clearly unrealistic. I reckon it might end up costing us £2.5m -£3m, something like that. | | | |
