Arsenal falling apart again on 18:36 - May 14 with 2443 views | Herbivore | They've really imploded in recent weeks after what's been a fantastic season on the whole. Hard to say whether it's been a mental block having not challenged for major honours for a long time or whether it's physical as they don't have anything like the squad depth of City. A few key players missed some games through injury and some others look a bit leggy, whilst City are still relentless despite competing on three fronts. Still a great effort from them overall this year but they need to strengthen if they want to challenge for silverware regularly.

Arsenal falling apart again on 18:49 - May 14 with 2374 views | Swansea_Blue | They haven’t got the depth of squad to deal with injuries. A cracking season for them though. I doubt even their staunchest supporter would have expected them to be in with a shot of the title with 3-4 games left. If the recruit we’ll in the summer, the could be a force again next year.

Arsenal falling apart again on 18:50 - May 14 with 2368 views | gazzer1999 | Brighton were different level to Arsenal today, they must be the blueprint for us if we get promoted. I see two players alone could raise the best part of a hundred million pounds, hope they both stay and the club push on further.

Of all the miserable things to have happened in the last 20 years or so, the idea that we should be emulating clubs like that is up there. Hopefully football rights itself sooner rather than later and them and Bournemouth et al go back to whence they came.

Blimey you got a problem with Brighton? They showed Arsenal how to play today. If you look outside you will see the sun is still out, go out and enjoy it. Just chill. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Why would I not be chilled? I know fans abandoning us and now returning might have some parallels with them, but being overtaken by the likes of them is utterly depressing when you look at it. To want to be like Brighton etc underlines it perfectly.

It seems a long time since the infamous Amex banner days. Another club that’s gone in the opposite direction to us (thanks for nothing Marcus! 🤬). Still, Sunderland’s performance this year gives us hope that next season we could be back to at least where we were when Evans took over. With a bit of luck, we could even be in a better place. Hanging onto McKenna is going to be key, and that’s going to keep getting more difficult if he carries on like this. Let’s hope he can really kick us on before he’s poached.

Clubs like Brighton, Brentford and Bournemouth shows how quickly football can change if there’s a plan and if the owners ambitions are matched with money. We seem to have both of those things.
Arsenal falling apart again on 09:34 - May 15 with 1806 views | BloomBlue | What I'm finding disappointing is too many teams simply giving up when playing Man Ci£y even before a ball is kicked. Ok Ci£y are in great form, but teams seem to be going into games against them with the aim of keeping the goals against score sensible rather than 'let's go and win this'. Ridiculous as its 11v11 and in football anyone can beat anyone and against other teams like Arsenal, L'pool the opposition at least approach it with a we can win mentality. Everton for example attacked Brighton from the start in their previous game, against Ci£y they hardly made a tackle, as if 'what's the point we'll lose anyway'. Hopefully it's an end season situation rather than 90% of teams deciding they will give Ci£y a free pass from now.

My only concern about this is the inevitable name change to Bipswich.

Arsenal falling apart again on 13:14 - May 15 with 1542 views | giant_stow | I dared to believe for a while, but very sad in the end. Still, its a very young team and looks like they have the money to buy some serious reinforcements in the summer, so its been a masisve step up for the Gooners this season.
