There's a story that the crew in that programme hated Davidson. There was a scene in which a young lad had to hit Davidson but obviously pull back before impact. They bribed the kid to make contact and so he lamped him. Davidson was furious and said the kid would never work in TV ever again. Take a bow, David Thewliss. [Post edited 30 Jul 2023 15:33]
