He was up for player of the month, only played a few minutes in Egypt and has been superb.

Thought that, but then I thought, is he's been with the group training all week, Morsy didn't get back until yesterday. I really don't believe McKenna waited until Morsy was back until starting training on specific patterns of play for S.Wed.

Genuine question - how important is a training session/s leading up to a specific game? No matter how good the training sessions are, surely the quality of the players are more important. Pretty sure Morsy can come straight back into the squad and miss a day's training without it meaning that much. They still play with a round ball whoever we play. | | | |
