Keiron Mckenna 19:55 - Oct 7 with 2375 views | blueasfook | Has to be one of the best young managers in the game right now. How lucky we've been to get him. Mind, we had to suffer a few duffers to get here.

If we don’t go up I can’t see how we could keep hold of him, someone like Everton for example would be hugely tempting. I don’t even want to think about it.

As an aside Everton would be a shocking choice. I can't see KM going somewhere like that...he's been very picky and I suspect knows exactly what he wants.

I don't know. I think that we are the ideal club for him, and he is the ideal manager for us. I reckon he has enough self belief to know that he'll be managing United in the Champions League one day, and that right now his best opportunity for self-development is right here, continuing to build on something which he has done so much work on already. Even a top eight finish this season would be a success and something to build on next season.

Keiron Mckenna on 20:17 - Oct 7 with 2197 views | Illinoisblue | Just a minute into his presser and he was talking about how we can do some things better. You just know he’s never quite satisfied and always pushing his staff and squad to do more. And note how he praises his staff when asked about the set piece Chaplin goal. He is an absolute diamond and we’re blessed to have him. Treasure every moment.

Hopefully, he does have a completely perfect set up here, fingers crossed, if we do get up and do reasonably the big boys will be calling for sure.

Keiron Mckenna on 20:23 - Oct 7 with 2132 views | SuperKieranMcKenna | Hopefully he’ll stick around long enough for you to learn how to spell his name correctly… But seriously I’m loving his all out attack style, feels like even more so than last season. Everyone is so well coached that the decision making from the players is impeccable. I think that’s one of the reasons we are so deadly, if your positioning isn’t great, cut it across to someone who is. We don’t seem to have many hit and hope shots. Another fantastic day at FPR - COYFB!

I think Mckenna isn't daft, he knows he's in a good spot. He's learning his craft in a place he's happy. The fact he's a quick learner is great for us, going anywhere? In my eyes I don't think so.

KMc is destined to manage a top six club, but I think he'll want to get us promoted first. Staying up is then essential. His success at ITFC has been built on being given time to improve players and sign targets that may not immediately be available (e.g. Hirst, Taylor). If he jumps ship at the first offer from a PL club (e.g. Palace) will he be afforded the same luxury? Graham Potter was once the best thing since sliced bread, now he may have to manage in the Championship again. Established PL clubs with decent owners like Brighton do worry me, but if we progress quickly enough then the pool of clubs who can tempt KMc away will get smaller.
