There’s a great pic of the lads on a bowling trip to Felixstowe in 66’ (maybe 67’) with Bill McGarry, and an even younger Mick Mills, who does indeed look very Mod. His sweater looks the same as the Escape To Victory shirts. As an aside, I did once read that Ian Collard turned up on a scooter, immediately banned by Robson! And of course Beattie had history back in Carlisle.

For those who’d like to improve…

Stand up straight and tall.
Keep your shoulders back.
Pull your stomach in.
Put your weight mostly on the balls of your feet.
Keep your head level.
Let your arms hang down naturally at your sides.
Keep your feet about shoulder-width apart.

I've tried all that, but I can't quite get my balls to rest on my feet whilst standing up straight and tall.

That FA Cup game was my first Town match.
Frank O'Farrell wanted to sign Mills for Man Utd a couple of year later, but fortunately for us, the United board, controlled by Matt Busby, refused to sanction the deal.
