At what point do we get into the territory of wanting Norwich to take some points off the clubs nearest to us? I'm not there yet, and Sunderland aren't close enough for it to be justified. Quite happily see the Canaries slapped tomorrow and us extend a 17 point lead with a game in hand. A few more weeks with the form they're in and they might even start looking over their shoulder.

They are far more impressive if plenty of them are from outside the 6 yard box rather than within it. However, he is clearly a very good player.

The point would come when we needed them to. At the moment, we are playing so well we don't need the help. Long may it continue!

I can't ever see a need to want Norwich to get any points. If we're ever in a position of relying on them for anything, I'd rather not.

Jack Clarke, Sun'lun. on 14:12 - Oct 27 with 2180 views | Vegtablue | Yeah quality player, Clarke and Roberts on the other side may be the two best dribblers in the league. Inconsistency of youth and lack of a focal point up front are what's could cost them a top 2 challenge this season and it will be tough to keep their squad together for next. Awful diver though despite a lot of practice. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Hopefully not reliant, but perhaps in a position where it's favourable for them to get a result. If they're 20 points behind us and playing Leeds I know who I would want to drop points right now. First things first though I hope we absolutely tear them a new one 7 weeks tomorrow.

Surely we'd all like Wagner to keep his job a little longer??? And that would require them winning the odd game or two I'm afraid...

At what point does 20 points behind us become 2 points above the drop zone? We need to do the job ourselves without relying on others.

Roberts always looks a much better player than Clarke when I've seen Sunderland but end product maybe the issue (a bit like Kyle Edwards). I can't say I've watched Clarke and thought he looks outstanding. Good champ player of course but then his end product is excellent which significantly elevated him. He's in demand and will be in the prem next year. Sunderland knocked back big bids. I think they want £20 mil+

Draws all round please, means 1 point disappears off the possibles.

Well if they finish 20 points behind us they'll be on about 90 points, so I don't suppose they'll be too worried about relegation...

True but right now if they are 20 points behind us they are 2 above the drop. I think they are a bit higher than that but they must have dropped away significantly with their recent form.
