I'm only speculating but i guess he must have had conversations and has come to this conclusion.
my guess is he isn't going to be starting and so going away for weeks, sitting on the bench getting the odd minutes here or there, he didn't fancy that. Maybe he was thinking of retiring anyway. | | | |

Must have been a big decision for him and his family. Bearing in mind that it might not go down that well with some of his country men on the eve of a big tournament.
Pleased he's decided to try and prolong his club career, though.. He's an amazing talent, in the right hands.. Hard to believe he was rotting in Boro's stiffs and going down hill mentally just over a year ago.. Fella is always smiling in a Town shirt, and well loved here.
