Seen he’s been linked to Fulham and Palace. When his name (and Nketiah too?), was linked with us I thought way out of our league. With the players we’ve bought and money we’ve spent doesn’t seem quite so far fetched.
Waiting for the Philogene to Villa to hit a snag now, was having a medical there today?

Neither of those two thanks.
Philogene seems to have made up his mind, so we need to move on to our next target.

Not at the price they want.

There is a big difference between £15m and £50m.

ESR is 23 with 80 PL appearances and 3 England caps.

If the price was right, and KM saw potential, we'd be mad not to consider it.

A lot of talk Willy Gnonto is available at £25m, a better player than Philogene, although slightly more expensive.

Newcastle rumoured to be preparing a bid, so would probably choose them, but I say go put a bid in Ashton.

Doesn’t fit our recruitment mantra. Bad egg.

You'd think he'd have a lot PL interest?

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Everyone deserves a second chance. He did have the one episode at the beginning of last season but has knuckled down since then. He would be a great addition.

Acts like a spoiled child on the pitch as well as off it. Not the sort of 'character' we are after.

Don't understand that. He wanted to leave Leeds based on his personal preferences, and he knew playing in the championship would hurt his chances of playing for Italy- which was proved correct.
Is that any difference to Whittaker who didn't want to go back to Swansea, a player who is often seen throwing his hands in the air and moaning when it's not going his way on the pitch.
I could also argue Hirst didn't come here when we first went after him, is that the type of commitment we wanted at the club.
Everyone when young makes decisions and can react in a way that people view as childish, but people can change.

Gnonto is only 20, he can play on either wing, if Leeds will accept £25m I say go for him.

Only difference with Whittaker is he's not a petulant little child...

Wouldn't want Gnonto anywhere near our club, talent or no talent... 25 mil is also expensive, bearing in mind we got Omari for less and he was better!
