New TV camera angle 09:04 - Aug 18 with 2047 views | tractorshark | Thought the new TV angle looked a little low on MOTD. And they didn’t seem to zoom in on the ball so everything looked far away. Small issues but it just felt strange. Obviously we’ve had to change a lot in the ground to meet regulations but have the TV cameras moved as well? I remember in the late 80s the angle being quite low. [Post edited 18 Aug 2024 9:08]

A lot of that pitch is plastic now though, the new camera angle brings you closer to the players, it'll probably grow on me but it did feel strange, as strange as playing Liverpool again after all these years..

I prefered it higher up but at least it's better than for the Dusseldorf game which was so low down we may as well have been in the technical area with McKenna. Will probably be permanent now, until either the west stand is rebuilt or maybe switch it to the new cobbold - but I presume there may be issues with the sun having TV cameras that side.

What slightly bugged me in a very small way, was how the crowd shots had a pinky / purple hue to them with the vast number of away and third shirts. Much prefer when we look blue and white. (Even though i bought the away shirt).

I was going to say it reminded me of that Highbury style camera angle. Not sure I like all that much.

If it's plastic, it won't grow on you.
