Get the positives in before the board gets flooded 21:19 - Dec 3 with 1332 views | JammyDodgerrr | H Clarke has been solid and had a good game. Broadhead looks sharp and raring to go. Greaves has slotted back in. We're at home again at the weekend. Football isn't everything. [Post edited 3 Dec 2024 21:20]

He slipped. Massively unfortunate but he was excellent all night with O'Shea. Definitely A positive. Broadhead was lively (a minor thing but what a woeful decision by the lino that whole ball had gone out). Al Hamadi played well when he came on, credit where due. Overall we just couldn't get a proper foothold in game. We were getting on top when they scored. We do need a Right Midfielder in January. Burns is really struggling with fitness.

I don't get people saying Greaves is good. He is no better than Burgess and I'd say marginally worse.

Ogbene would probably be starting now if fit. Thats pretty unlucky.
Get the positives in before the board gets flooded on 21:33 - Dec 3 with 1000 views | gainsboroughblue | We have tightened up at the back no question. No more than 1 goal conceded in a game now 5 games in a row. Our defeats now are more a case of being squeezed out of games than pummeled and out of our depth. We look what we are. A x2 promoted side who have quickly had to upgrade on all areas of the pitch and transition that to a fluid and gelled outfit. We were, and still are, always going to be up against it. This division is brutal and the disparity in squad options and finances to facilitate that is a product of something completely out of our control. We are not a million miles away but it's frustrating that we are choosing to be impotent in the 'mini league' games. We really do need to be doing what Leicester have (so far) done tonight, get ahead early. It's a bit deflating to be honest but it is what it is.

Feel exactly the same. Would love an Ali goal to shut up the morons. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Absolutely, we really need pace to push teams back. I do think Burns has more to come. I really think he's not right physically.

That blows my mind to be honest. Greaves first game back to tonight and he played great but for the stumble and getting turned by Mateta of course. He'll play his whole career at prem level from here.

He beat players where it didn't matter so much. As others have said his natural game doesn't work with Davis as both want to occupy the touchline area

Tonight agree but overall he has better passing ability than Burgess.
