re : Football League highlights The stars of last year have moved on to better things but they've brought some old faces back from 2 seasons ago. This year is a bit flat and they still haven't taken Old Yeller behind the shed and shot him.

thanks, that'll save me some time then. i just hope the showrunners don't panic and get last year's stars back for a reunion series in late 2025...

Fav TV series of the year on 14:46 - Dec 19 with 1349 views | Kievthegreat | Shogun Arcane (season 2 specifically) Was really looking forward to MOTD, but other than a couple of good episodes, has been a bit disappointing thus far. [Post edited 19 Dec 2024 14:46]

It seems the producers have hit on a winning formula so it's likely the reunion will happen. I think Ipswich are too glamorous now, they're defo A-listers so they might not get them. Past favourites Luton have had some really poor story lines. I think they might be for the chop.

This is the correct answer, unbelievably good telly. Rivals would be my second favourite, very very entertaining. Well worth a watch if you haven't already. I nearly dismissed it out of hand, but very glad I didn't. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

stick with it, rumours are that one of the new guest stars has a breakout episode coming up. hopefully they'll be promoted to a series regular

Fav TV series of the year on 17:37 - Dec 19 with 1042 views | Churchman | Best: Wolf Hall by a mile Shogun Ludwig - curious but enjoyed it Hit List - I know zilch about music but it’s a happy 30 minute programme that always makes me smile. Biggest disappointment: Renaissance: The Blood and the Beauty A subject that fascinates me and while it’s ok, docu dramas can be a bit of a bore if they’re all about the actor. In this case Charles Dance as Michaelangelo. [Post edited 19 Dec 2024 23:38]

That's a good candidate (but the place that provides the title is actually called "Wolfhall" and has also been known as "Wulfhall"). I reckon the superb "Ludwig" was my favourite series though.

Good shout! Added Ludwig as I really enjoyed it Enjoying the Dalgleish PD James detective series too.but I do wish it wasn’t filmed in a sort of sepia. They had proper colour in the 70s! A lot of it.
