Just keep Delap on! on 16:20 - Jan 5 with 1097 views | Tonytown | There was 11 minutes to go with the 8 added on. The club manage workloads and when you’re tired you run a bigger risk of injury, particularly over stretching as you’re not quite in position to block or tackle. If we had a fit Hirst, then Delap would have had some games as sub where he only came on for 25 mins and others when he came off after 65/70. Hopefully things might start to change in 2 weeks time
Just keep Delap on! on 16:22 - Jan 5 with 1038 views | gainsboroughblue | I think we are pushing our luck keeping Delap fit as it is. He is probably the player in our team who has the most potential of an impact/muscle injury. We desperately need Hirst back and another striker but that's not new information.

Rubbish, he’s as fit as a fiddle. Keep him on, game is won.

Just keep Delap on! on 16:28 - Jan 5 with 898 views | Pinewoodblue | Delap will no doubt sit out the FA Cup game he really shouldn’t have been subbed there eleven days before our next Premier League game.

Yet he missed 16 games last season when at Hull with an injury picked up in January. Taking Delap off didn’t cost us the win - it was clearly two poor and unnecessary challenges in our own box.
Just keep Delap on! on 16:32 - Jan 5 with 813 views | pointofblue | Delap played the match out against Chelsea. With an eleven day break, he should have really played the 90 today too. He was offering so much to us up top which was lost when he was subbed.

Just keep Delap on! on 16:33 - Jan 5 with 774 views | _clive_baker_ | The sort of sub that in an ideal world was 15 minutes too late, but given our options was probably 10 minutes too early.
Just keep Delap on! on 16:35 - Jan 5 with 750 views | BluJu | I get that they manage minutes, but AH has proven to many that he's not only lacking the quality for the Prem, but also the desire. He really does not chase the ball or close down, which would be the way to make up for not possessing the required skills. I'll go as far to say he looks lazy. He looks tired as soon as he's on the pitch. I get that they want Delap to come off, but bring on someone capable of causing the oppo some trouble. Overall it's a good point, but I'd only be comfortable with that had Fulham scored 2 decent goals. But 2 of our better players gifted pens. We need to mature quickly and know how to manage a Prem game. Perhaps we need to learn the cynical side of Prem football too, even if just to avoid falling foul of it.
